Meet The Team

Gina Harris, Hand on HeartGina Harris - Fundraising Manager

Gina has been with Hand on Heart since it very first began as an idea in 2010! She is passionate about the cause and works closely with schools to ensure that they understand why it is so important for them to have defibrillators and CPR training.

Gina's role is to encourage people to nominate schools for the Hand on Heart grant which funds between £250 and £1000 of the cost of a Heartstart Schools Defibrillator Package. Once a school is nominated, Gina guides them through all the stages from organising their own fundraising activities to organising a defibrillator presentation (if they win the grant) and how to get funding from other sources (if they are unsuccessful).

You can ask Gina for more information on school involvement or nominate your school for a Hand on Heart grant by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
