Hand on Heart will be hosting the 5th UK Heart Safe Awards on October 7th 2016 at the Midland Hotel, Manchester. With judging complete and the shortlist announced, tickets are now available to purchase via the UK Heart Safe Awards website.

The UK Heart Safe Awards, is a nationwide awards ceremony that celebrates organisations and employers who invest in creating Heart Safe environments as well as the acts of individuals who have saved lives while at work or leisure by doing basic CPR and using a defibrillator.  A Heart Safe environment is one where life-saving equipment - a defibrillator and training are provided for staff or customers so that, should a sudden cardiac arrest occur, people are fully prepared to perform resuscitation and life support immediately.

With 14 categories ranging from Small Business of the Year, to Emergency Services, Special Recognition, Large Business of the Year, Sports & Fitness Establishment to Leisure & Tourism Business of the Year, each category will recognise outstanding achievements of a team or individuals.
