In November 2013, Hand on Heart Charity successfully completed helping all unequipped Trafford high schools become Heart Safe by donating a defibrillator package to each one not yet equipped with one. This was as a part of our Trafford Campaign, where our aim is to create a Heart Safe community in Trafford by ensure all schools within the area have access to a life-saving defibrillator in an emergency situation. We're making incredible progress in helping Trafford primary schools become Heart Safe with a life-saving defibrillator, but we want to help more! To continue creating Heart Safe environments in the Trafford community, we would like to offer you a defibrillator and also training for 8 members of staff and 30 children, a Little Anne training doll and much more to ensure your school is Heart Safe. What we are offering can provide life-saving treatment not only for the children of the school, but to the teachers and parents as well for an outstanding price of £999 plus vat.

Hand on Heart Charity has 3 aims;

• To raise awareness of cardiac arrest in the young
• Fund defibrillators for schools
• Educate staff and students to save lives

The reality of it is, 12 young people die each week due to Sudden Cardiac Arrest, of these 270 a year will die in school. The only definitive treatment for cardiac arrest is a life-saving shock from a defibrillator. A shock much be delivered within the first 3 minutes of a victims collapse to achieve an increased survival rate from 6% to over 74%.
